My name is Jazzmine and i am the owner & sole groomer here at Pawsitive Touch Grooms. My passion for the pet industry blossomed in 2013 when I landed my very first pet job at Petcetera, however my love for animals has always been a huge part of who i am since i was old enough to walk.

When I'm not busy spending time with your pup's making them look their best. I spend my time with my partner and our two pup's Kahlua & Maui who are always down for any adventure headed our way. On the weekends we spend our time with my two Beautiful step daughters who you may see on the odd Saturday helping me sweep away all your pups fur.

My grooming journey in particular began in 2016 doing Baths, Tidies & Nail trims at the Dog Daycare i was working at the time. In2019 i started working for a new facility and by 2020 i began continuing my grooming career and expanding my knowledge of the grooming process by spending hours online watching different seminars, or any video from my go to grooming inspirations. This helped me along the way which led me down the path of starting full cuts and getting my certifications with the help of the Daycare / Boarding Facility in 2023 - which turned out was a big year for my career.

In 2023, I completed my certification after years in the field, I won the Groomer of the Year for the company I worked for as well as I ended up parting ways with that very company the same month the award was announced. From there I went on to be mentored by fellow groomers in the city where I was able to see how structured salons were set up, but I also saw areas for much needed improvement as well. 

Which brings us to Pawsitive Touch Grooms. I wanted to create a 1 on 1 space where your pup doesn't have the added pressure of the presence of other strange dogs or people. Where there is no Cage / Kennel your pup will have to wait in while I attend to another dog - It's just your pup & I from the start to finish making it a much more stress free & calming experience. This also opens the doors for those who may have been turned away by your traditional salons as your pup may not be suited for the fast paced, loud & busy environment other salons may present.
